Cancel an appointment
If you no longer need your appointment, letting us know early means we can offer it to someone else.
Cancel online where available
If the appointment is shown in your Patient Services account, you can cancel it there. Online options depend on the type of appointment and the services enabled for your account.
Cancel or rearrange by phone
If you cannot see the appointment online, or you need to rearrange it, phone 01968 675 576 between 8:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Even at very short notice, please still call — a late cancellation is better than a missed appointment.
How much notice should I give?
Please cancel as soon as you know you cannot attend. Even a late cancellation is useful because it tells the clinical team not to wait for you and may allow the appointment to be reused.
If you cancel, a replacement appointment is not reserved automatically. If you still need care, tell reception you need to rearrange. The timing and clinician offered will depend on clinical need and available capacity.
If we have to cancel your appointment
Unexpected staff absence or service disruption can occasionally require cancellation at short notice. We will try to contact you promptly and offer a suitable alternative where capacity permits, but we cannot guarantee a same-day replacement or the same clinician. If your problem becomes urgent while waiting, contact us again.
Why cancelling matters
Every appointment you cancel in good time can be offered to another patient who needs it. Missed appointments waste clinical time and make it harder for everyone to be seen quickly.

Common questions
How do I cancel an appointment?
Cancel through Patient Services where the appointment is shown, or phone the practice. Please cancel as soon as you know you cannot attend.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
We understand that mistakes happen. Repeated missed appointments without cancellation may lead the practice to contact you because they reduce the appointments available to other patients.
