Prescription tracker

A date-based guide to normal repeat prescription processing times; it does not access your medical record or pharmacy system. It updates automatically, using our 3 full working day rule.

Normally processed by the practice

Ready to collect from 3pm on the third working day after you order.

Your pharmacy still needs to receive and dispense the prescription. Check with the pharmacy before travelling; clinical review, queries or medicine availability can cause delays.

Being processed

Orders from the last 3 working days are being processed.

Ordering today?

Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday start processing the next working day.

Day by day

Check your order

Tell us the day you ordered and we will tell you where it is.

Your order is ready to collect from 3pm on the third working day after you ordered. Weekends and public holidays do not count as working days.

Never run out again

Tell us how long each supply lasts and when you last ordered, and download a repeating reminder for your phone or computer calendar.

A good habit: order your next repeat about a week before your medication runs out.

Good to know

Collect from your pharmacy

If you have nominated a pharmacy, your prescription is sent there directly. Please contact the pharmacy to check it is ready to hand out, rather than phoning the surgery.

Order in good time

Order before you run out, especially before public holidays. The quickest way is online through Patient Services, or hand your slip in at reception. See our Prescriptions page for full details.
